About the Journal

Journal of Social and Humanities Empowerment (SHE) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by Penerbit Bali Sruti, focusing on community service, community empowerment, community engagement, and the application of knowledge, science, and technology to address community needs and improve community quality of life and well-being.

SHE is a multidisciplinary journal that provides a scholarly platform for academics, practitioners, students, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to disseminate the implementation, evaluation, development, and innovation of community service and empowerment programs.

The journal welcomes manuscripts from various fields, including community and social empowerment, social and economic development, education and training, health and well-being, culture and identity, human rights and social justice, technology and social innovation, environment and sustainability, as well as other areas relevant to community empowerment and development.

Submitted manuscripts should demonstrate a clear connection to the target community, identified community needs or problems, implementation methods or approaches, community participation, outcomes or impacts, and lessons for program sustainability or replication.

SHE does not primarily publish pure research articles that do not contain a clear community service, community empowerment, or community engagement component.

Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English and must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. SHE is published three times a year, in March, July, and November.
