Journal of Discourse, Innovation, and Empowerment in Gender (JODIEG) will immediately reject papers containing plagiarism or self-plagiarism. Submitted manuscripts are checked for possible plagiarism using plagiarism-detection software.

The maximum similarity score permitted by the Journal of Discourse, Innovation, and Empowerment in Gender (JODIEG) is 25%, with no more than 3% similarity to any single source.
