Journal Focus

Journal of Gender, Policy, and Social Inclusion (JOGEPSI) focuses on publishing research findings, scholarly studies, and policy analyses that integrate gender perspectives, social inclusion, and intersectionality into public policy and governance. The journal aims to promote the development of gender-responsive, inclusive, equitable, and evidence-based policies.

Journal Scope

JOGEPSI welcomes articles covering, but not limited to, the following areas:

1. Gender-Responsive Public Policy

Analysis, formulation, implementation, and evaluation of public policies that take gender equality and equity into consideration.

2. Social Inclusion and Exclusion Policies

Studies of policies that affect access, participation, protection, and the fulfillment of the rights of marginalized and vulnerable groups.

3. Intersectionality in Governance

Analysis of the intersections of gender with disability, age, social class, identity, culture, and other dimensions of inequality in governance and public policy.

4. Gender-Responsive Budgeting and Fiscal Policy

Studies on gender-responsive budgeting, public budget allocation, fiscal policy, and the equitable distribution of resources.

5. Social Protection and Welfare Policies

Studies on social security, social assistance, poverty alleviation, and social welfare policies from gender and social inclusion perspectives.

6. Inclusive Health and Education Policies

Studies of health and education policies that address equitable access, gender equality, disability inclusion, and the needs of marginalized groups.

7. Employment Policy and Gender Equality

Issues related to equal employment opportunities, gender pay gaps, worker protection, care work, and the rights of women workers and vulnerable groups.

8. Digital Governance and Gender Inclusion

Studies on digital policies, access to technology, the digital divide, digital safety, and the impacts of digital transformation on women and marginalized groups.

9. Minority Rights and Policy Analysis

Studies on rights protection, discrimination, representation, and policies concerning minority and marginalized groups.

10. Evidence-Based Policy from a Gender Perspective

The use of data, research findings, and scientific evidence in the formulation and evaluation of gender-responsive and inclusive public policies.
